European Regional Development Fund

In the context of the European funds programming PR FESR 2021- 2027, AXIS 1, SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE 1.1, ACTION 1.1.1 – called: “RESEARCH AND DEVELOOPMENT TO INNOVATE THE MARCHE REGION – Incentives to companies for industrial research and experimental development activities in the areas identified by the regional smart specialization strategy”. VALMEX SPA is collaborating with Fonderie Pl srl, Saba Plast srl and CTF Automazioni srl on a project entitled “Circond XXL – Development of a new range of high-power condensing heat exchangers and an innovative, flexible, modular “human centred” production system”

The aim of the project is to develop a cutting-edge platform capable of producing a new range of high-power heat exchangers that are both conceptually innovative and perform at a radically higher level. The project will also encompass the development of the necessary tools and processes for:

  • The manufacturing of components is of paramount importance.
  • The assembly of the heat exchangers is a key part of the process.
  • The final product quality must be verified.

Valmex, in collaboration with its partners, submitted a project valued at €1,903,204.90, of which €994,222.65 is supported through EU funding.

Progetto FESR_ CIRCOND XXL

In the framework of the European funds programming POR MARCHE FESR 2014/2020 – ASSE 1 – OS 1 – ACTION 1.1- INT. 1.1.1 – Promotion of research and development in the areas of Smart Specialisation the company VALMEX SPA in collaboration with the project partners Fonderie Pl srl, Saba Plast srl and CTF Automazioni srl, is developing a project called “New mechatronic platform for the design and production of eco-sustainable heat exchangers”.

The aim is to study a new integrated production platform, radically innovative compared to the state of the art of the companies involved, capable of offering the market a new range of products, in a modular and scalable manner. Products suited to Valmex’s current market, but also able to challenge the Chinese and American markets.

The Marche Polytechnic University and the University of Parma will also be involved in the project. They will provide expert advice in their fields of scientific excellence to implement the necessary technological innovations in the entire supply chain and to train the companies’ technical staff in the Industry 4.0 technologies that will be deployed.
